The location was great - close to the airport, and walking distance to multiple train stations, pubs, restaurants. After hours check-in was easy, though I think instructions need to be updated so customers know how it works before they arrive in the late hours. Bed was super comfy - our pillows needed changing out for new ones. Good hot water with plenty of pressure. The windows block out most of the noise from the frequent planes crossing overhead, so you won't be disturbed by them unless you want to sleep with your window open. Maccas downstairs for a first thing in the morning real caffeine hit was great.

The hotel is really nice. It may not seem it by photos i.e. put off by the sink in the room, but it is actually a really good room. The bathroom is quirky, but the shower is really nice. The beds were really soft. The airport is about 20 mins away via public transport which is easy to catch from the hotel, and the CBD is about 30-40 mins away via public transport. Easy as. KFC and McDonald's right next door for late night feeds, can't go wrong. Cheap and nice location.

It was as expected. Cheap for a reason, but I felt safe, which was important. The room had a pale green prison cell vibe, which is quite fun if you want to know what that is like. There is even a weird washbasin in the corner, rather than the bathroom, to add to the vibe. Fluorescent lights complement the effect. It is nice and close to the airport so it is fine for an overnight stay if you are not into anything fancy.

The bed and sheets were comfy. Private bathroom. Ibis budget St Peters is located in between KFC and Maccas, really convenient if you can't be bothered going out for tea. Bus stop is very close, you are able to catch the bus to IKEA or the train station. It is close to the airport as well, easy to catch a bus then train to airport, it can be noisy with planes taking off and flying above you, but it did not bother us.

Location was great for me. I walked to most places I wanted to go in the Marrickville area. Room was very basic but fine for my needs. Only a two night stay and was out most of the time so I didn’t require ultra fancy accommodation. My room was clean and quiet. Many reviews mentioned noise as a factor but on third floor I literally heard nothing. Had even taken sleep earplugs as a precaution but they weren’t needed.
